2011 Tax Levy Comparison
Below is a listing of how the municipal tax levy in Wayne compares to other First Class cities in Nebraska.  A First Class city is any city with a population greater than 5,000 (Omaha and Lincoln are not included).

The first column below shows the tax levy collected by the City.  The second column is the total tax asking (city, county, school district, airport, etc.) 

Using the total conslidated levy, as an example, the total property tax asking on a home valued at $100,000 in the City of Wayne would be $2,130.54, which is down from the total of $2,154 from 2010.
