The City of Wayne provides transportation for senior citizens, school-aged children, NorthStar clients going to work sites and persons under 60. For senior citizens it is a great way for these people to get to medical appointments, run errands, go grocery shopping and go to hair appointments.
For school-aged children, we can pick children up from school and other recreational activities. For any people under age 60, we can transport people to work, errands or any other location that they may need.
The City of Wayne Public Transit System operates its programs and services without regard to race, color or national origin.

This service is "on-demand". To make an appointment or reservation, please call the Senior Center at (402) 375-1460. The cost is $1.50 for a one-way ride.
The Wayne Handi-Van service is available Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
