The City is asking that residents not park on the streets during the day, unless absolutely necessary making room for plows to make multiple passes.
City snow plows continue to operate to clear the streets. Nearly all City streets are open to at least one lane of traffic. The drifting snow quickly makes many areas impassable again. Also, some intersections are difficult to drive through. Travel is not recommended.
Due to the large quantity of snow, the City will be using the snow blower in some parts of the community to widen the streets. This will result in snow being blown onto residents sidewalks, lawns, and driveways.
