Special youth programming with Amy Topp of the 4H Extension office will take place on July 6th and July 13th at the library. Both dates will have two different attendance times: Kindergarten-2nd graders at 11 AM and 3rd-4th graders at 1 PM. Join Amy for some fun and educational activities!
Teen 3D Printing Classes (ages 13 and up) will be happening in our computer lab! Participants must sign up beforehand and have a parental consent form signed to use the 3D Printer. Dates: July 7th at 2 PM, July 14th at 2 PM, and July 28th at 2 PM. Sharon will introduce you to the basics of the 3D printer, and get you started with Tinkercad, where you can create your own original 3D designs! Sign up for at least one of the classes to learn the basics, or sign up for all three to have time to hone your skills with Sharon on hand to answer questions. Continue printing on your own schedule throughout the month! Participant prints will be shown off in the hallway display case during the month of August.
To help kick off the beginning of the Wayne, NE Chicken Show, we will be having a Henoween Storytime and activity at the library at 4:30 PM on July 8th. Join us for chicken stories, eggtastic games, and a good time.
Head to the back of the library on Tuesday, July 12th at 6 PM for Adult Coloring. Stop in for a relaxing night and good company. Colors, coloring sheets, and snacks are provided. Adult Coloring Night is sponsored by Pac N' Save.

Book Club will be returning for discussion Tuesday, July 26th at 6:30 PM in the library conference room. This month's discussion book will be Anatomy of a Scandal by Sarah Vaughan. An astonishingly incisive and suspenseful novel about a scandal amongst Britain's privileged elite and the women caught up in its wake. Sophie's husband James is a loving father, a handsome man, and a charismatic and successful public figure. And yet he stands accused of a terrible crime.
Dress in your best 80's gear and be ready for a totally tubular night! Join us Friday, July 29th, at 7 PM for our 80's decade-themed trivia night! The event will be held at Johnnie Byrd's. Costumes and themed costume groups are highly encouraged! Please stop in or call the library to register your team of four. Space is limited, first-come, first-serve. Awards will be given to trivia winners and best costumes. Gag me with a spoon!
