Recycling & Trash

Overview

The City of Wayne does not offer curbside solid waste or recycling services to its residents. A private company, Waste Connections, provides these services and accepts certain items for curbside recycling:

Recycling & Trash Center ("RTC")

Waste Connections operates a recycling and trash center where items can be dropped off by businesses or residents wishing to haul their own garbage and recycling. Solid waste is hauled from the facility to the landfill in Jackson, Nebraska. Recycling materials are baled and then shipped to various markets.
