The City of Wayne utilizes a law enforcement neighborhood beat program that allows specific officers to be assigned to specific geographical areas of the city. Beat Officers are responsible for quality of life issues such as accumulations of trash and litter, control of unlicensed/inoperable motor vehicles, follow up on nuisance complaints, and city code violations.
The town is divided into quadrants. Officer Domenic Consoli is responsible for the Northwest Quadrant, Officer Joshua Fischer is responsible for the Northeast Quadrant, Officer Cory Moeller is responsible for the Southwest Quadrant, and Officer Christopher Peterson is responsible for the Southeast Quadrant.
